The NFPL (Niagara Frontier Pistol League) is a weekly indoor NRA National Match Course rimfire and centerfire pistol league that generally runs from early October till mid to late March, Home and postal matches are held on Tuesday nights, travel matches are held the range specified in the schedule. Non-match Tuesdays and BYE days are generally used for team practice and centerfire matches.
A typical match consists of 3 stages of fire (slow, timed, and rapid) shot at 50 feet, 30 shots in total. The slow fire round consists of 10 shots within 10 minutes. The timed fire round consists of 2 strings of 5 shots, each shot within 20 seconds. The rapid fire round consists of 2 strings of 5 shots, each shot within 10 seconds.
